John GOODWIN
30. John Goodwin, born 1744; died in Biddeford or Wells, ME. He was the son of Capt. Benjamin Goodwin and Deborah Goodwin. He married Lydia CLOUGH.

Ezekiel NEWTON
31. Ezekiel was the youngest son of Moses2 and Sarah Howe Newton of Marlboro. He was born there May 3, 1716, baptized June 24, 1716, and died at Southboro, Aug. 30, 1800, aged 84 years. He married at Shrewsbury, on Jan. 9, 1738, *Hephzibah NEWTON, daughter of Jonathan and Bethia (Rice) Newton of Marlboro. Hephzibah was born Nov. 1, 1716 and died April 19, 1776. Their children were born in Southboro.

John WINCHESTER
32. John Winchester4 (John3, John2, John1) was born in 1705, died in
Dec. 1738, and was the oldest son of Capt. John Winchester.
It is probable that he followed his ancestors in their occupation of farming. He is mentioned in Brookline
records as a fence viewer in 1731.
On Feb 25, 1730, he married in Reading to Elizabeth GREEN, daughter of Elizabeth (Farmer) and William Green of
Billerica, born about 1705; died about 1739. (Town Clerk of Brookline, from Town Records in 1896,
recorded at Brookline and Reading.)
He removed to Cambridge. His will was admitted to probate Jan. 7, 1739, and April 17, 1740, his widow Elizabeth was
appointed guardian of the two children, William, in his eighth year, and Elizabeth, in her sixth year. The widow
and children afterwards lived in Reading, Stoneham and Southboro. Elizabeth Winchester married (2) a Whiting,
and the guardianship of her children was transferred to William Green, Jr., of Reading.

JOB HINCKLEY
36. Job Hinckley4 (Samuel3, Thomas2, Samuel1), was born in Barnstable Feb. 16, 1687-8. He was a farmer and married first Nov. 15, 1711 to Sarah LAMBERT of Barnstable. Later, in 1722, he married [37.] *Sarah TUFTS, daughter of Capt. Peter Tufts of Medford, born May 13, 1702, died in Brookfield Sept. 4, 1784. He died at Brookfield July 4, 1753, age 64.
