Job NEWTON

45. Job Newton6 (Jabez5, Ezekiel4, Moaes3, Moses2, Richard1), son of Jabez and Rhoda (Ward) Newton of Southboro, Mass., was born in Southboro on Sept. 1, 1771, and died in Westboro, Mass. Feb. 14, 1836.

Submit Winchester NEWTON

46. Submit W. Newton6 (William5, John4, John3, John2, John1), was born in 1772, and died in 1867 at 95 years of age.

Job married at Southboro Oct. 10, 1799 to Submit Winchester, daughter of William and widow Hannah (Parker Bancroft) Winchester of Southboro, where she was born, Jan 13, 1772. Job and Submit Newton lived in Southboro. Their first three and the sixth children were born there. The other children were born in Westboro.

On July 12, 1818, his wife, Submit Winchester Newton was received by letter into the Evangelical Church at Westboro, and her name appears on the list of present member in l842. He owned land which he gave by will to his son Joseph V. Newton, whom he made executor of his estate.
